Gushu Yinzhen (50g)
Gu Shu Yinzhen (Ancient Tree Silver Needle)
Hand-harvested in early spring from ancient tea trees in Yunnan, this white tea is made exclusively from single buds of semi-wild Camellia sinensis. Grown in high mountain gardens by ethnic minority communities practicing ancestral farming methods, the tea trees grow naturally among tall weeds and forest vegetation, untouched by modern agriculture.
Delicate yet deeply flavorful, Gu Shu Yinzhen has a soft, grassy sweetness with floral hints reminiscent of a spring garden. Its signature is a powerful, long-lasting aftertaste that lingers on the palate and soothes the body with warming minerality. The leaves are highly resilient and give many infusions throughout the day: they even develop fruity notes when brewed again hours later.
Also excellent for cold water brewing, this tea delivers a refreshing, sweet infusion enjoyed even by children. With age, it evolves a muscatel richness akin to raw honey and stone fruits. A rare tea that suits both immediate enjoyment and long-term aging.
