Matcha Wholesale For Cafés And Shops

Bulk matcha, resale tins and matcha equipment, supplied from Munich.

  • We supply bulk matcha, 30 g resale tins and matcha equipment to cafés, roasteries and shops in Germany and the EU.
  • We work with two price points, and we hold them by changing suppliers rather than by raising them.
  • Minimum order is 1 kg per month for bulk matcha, which is about 500 drinks at 2 g per drink, 10 tins for resale and 5 pieces for equipment.
  • The price list goes out by mail, and it is current within the week because our batches are small.

We answer with a tea, a dosage and a monthly quantity for your concept, and the price list in the same mail. That costs you nothing and it does not commit you to anything.

A bowl of whisked usucha next to a 100 g pouch of Kagoshima matcha

Matcha For The Bar

Bulk matcha in 100 g pouches, so an opened pouch is finished before the powder goes flat. One blend is built for milk drinks, the other is whisked as usucha and also carries through milk.

The labelled 30 g Matcha Kagoshima tin

Tins For Resale

A labelled and sealed 30 g flap-top tin that goes straight onto your shelf. It holds the same tea we sell as Kagoshima Premium, so you can pour it at the bar and sell it over the counter without carrying two products.

The UNEARTHED glass matcha pitcher

Equipment

Our own glass matcha pitcher of about 250 ml, so your barista whisks the usucha and pours it from the same vessel, and a chasen in purple bamboo with about 70 tines for a fine and stable microfoam.

Who We Supply

Cafés And Roasteries

Bulk matcha, from 1 kg per month

  • You get one blend for milk drinks that holds its green colour in lighter dosages and with the sweeter milk alternatives such as coconut milk.
  • You get a second blend for usucha that also carries through milk, so one tea covers the bowl and the latte.
  • Samples on request before a tea goes on your menu, and we help you to calculate your drinks on it.
  • If we have to split a batch, our regular customers are served first.

Shops And Resellers

Ready to put on a shelf, from 10 tins

  • The 30 g tin is labelled and sealed, so nothing has to be weighed, filled or re-labelled in your shop.
  • Matcha equipment from 5 pieces, which is the glass pitcher and the chasen.
  • The tin and the pitcher have their own retail listings in our shop, so your customers can look them up under the same name.

How Ordering Works

  • Minimum order: 1 kg per month for bulk matcha, 10 tins for resale, 5 pieces for equipment.
  • Specification: first harvest, shaded at least 20 days, stone milled. That stays the same when the farm changes, and you get a sample before a swap.
  • One grade: we sell one grade of matcha, so there is no ceremonial and culinary split that you have to work around.
  • Delivery: we ship from our gallery in Munich and we invoice on delivery. All prices are net and they do not include VAT.
  • Availability: our stock page shows what is in the fridge right now. It is password protected, and you get the password when you write to us.

Common Questions

What is the difference between your two blends?
We sell one grade of matcha, so there is no ceremonial and culinary split. The difference is what each blend is built for: one holds its green colour in milk drinks and at lighter dosages, and the other is whisked as usucha and also carries through milk.
Can we order samples before we commit?
Yes. Samples go out on request, and we help you to calculate your drinks on the tea you choose. When we put a different tea behind a price point, you get a sample before it goes into your order.
What is the minimum order?
One kilogram per month for bulk matcha, which is about 500 drinks at 2 g per drink. For resale it is 10 tins, and for equipment it is 5 pieces.
How quickly can you deliver?
We ship from our own stock in Munich and we invoice on delivery. Our stock page shows what is in the fridge right now. It is password protected, and you get the password when you write to us.
Where does your matcha come from?
Our matcha comes from Kagoshima, Aichi and Nishio. First harvest, shaded at least 20 days and stone milled: that specification stays the same when the farm changes, and it is what the two price points are built on.
Do you supply equipment as well as matcha?
Yes. We supply our own glass matcha pitcher of about 250 ml with a hand-pulled spout, and a chasen in purple bamboo with about 70 tines, both from 5 pieces.
Is your matcha EU compliant, and can you supply certifications?
All of our matcha is EU compliant. When you need certifications for your own documentation, we can supply matcha and tea with them, and it helps us if you tell us which certification you need before we order.
Write to info@unearthed-gallery.com and tell us which matcha you serve today and how much you use per month. We answer with the price list and the current stock.
