Shipping policy

In short: For EU orders, all taxes are included in our prices — you pay nothing extra. For orders outside the EU (US, UK, Switzerland, Norway etc.), our prices contain no tax. Your country will charge import taxes and possibly duties when the parcel arrives, and you pay these directly to customs or the carrier. They are not included in our prices or shipping costs. Details below.

We offer worldwide shipping at cost. Orders are generally fulfilled within 3 business days, latest within 7 business days in rare instances (e.g. when dealing with high order volumes, holiday seasons etc.). We offer the following shipping options for respective countries and regions:

GERMANY

We use DHL Parcel (DHL Paket) service for all shipments. Orders arrive within 2-4 business days after fulfilment.

EUROPEAN UNION (except Germany)

All orders within the European Union contain respective taxes (VAT). We use DHL Parcel service as "Standard Shipping" which is delivered by respective domestic postal services. These shipments generally arrive 4-8 business days after fulfilment. Additionally we are offering an Express Service (in most cases UPS or DHL Express) with run times of 2-4 business days. Both options are automatically calculated for all orders and can be selected at checkout.

US, SWITZERLAND, UK, NORWAY AND OTHER NON-EU COUNTRIES

Our prices are the same for all countries. For orders shipped outside the EU, the price contains no German VAT.

Important — your country will charge import fees. When your parcel arrives in your country, customs will normally charge import VAT, in some cases customs duties, and the carrier often adds a handling fee. These charges are not included in our prices or shipping costs. The carrier or customs office collects them from you, usually before or at delivery. We cannot calculate, pre-pay or refund these charges — the amount depends on the rules of your country. We use DHL Parcel service as Standard Service which is delivered by respective domestic postal services (USPS, Royal Mail etc.). These shipments generally arrive 5-15 business days after fulfilment. Additionally we are offering an Express Service (in most cases UPS or DHL Express) with run times of 3-5 business days. Both options are automatically calculated for all orders and can be selected at checkout. With express carriers, the import fees are usually invoiced to you by the carrier shortly before or after delivery.

Refused parcels: If a parcel is refused because of unpaid import charges and returned to us, we refund the value of the goods minus the non-recoverable shipping and return costs we incur. For consumers residing in the EU, the statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected.

REST OF WORLD

For all other countries and regions we are offering a 0 EUR checkout with additional billing of actual shipping costs once calculated (Standard via DHL postal or Express via UPS or similar carrier). The note above about import taxes and duties applies to these countries as well.
