Pitcher, Mouth-blown borosilicate glass, clear, with a flat mouth and a silver filter set over the spout

Heat-resistant, safe for boiling water

Please note: the photo shows a sample piece. The pitcher you receive from the pre-order will be clear glass, in the same shape and with the same type of silver filter.

Silver has recently become an expensive raw material, and together with the work of attaching the filter by hand it is the most expensive part of this product.

Nevertheless this is one of the items we are most excited about, and we have been using it a lot since it arrived. It combines the ease of grandpa style with the quality and control of gongfucha.

This piece is made in a small glass studio, and the artisans there are excellently skilled and work with a great eye for detail. We have also chosen this studio for the custom designs of our UNEARTHED basics line-up.

UNEARTHED

UNEARTHED is our own label for teaware that we design ourselves. Every piece starts from one practical problem as well as from several inspirations, gets tested as a 3D printed prototype until it pours and handles the way it should, and only then goes to the workshop, where it goes through a few more rounds before the design is final.
