Heritage Grade Yame Gyokuro Saemidori (5g)
Single-cultivar Dentō Hon Gyokuro from Yame, Fukuoka (KUMAEN)
This award-winning hand-picked Dentō Hon Gyokuro from KUMAEN is produced under the strict traditional standards of Yame: it is shaded under honzu straw structures (reed screen + layered straw mats) and picked with a fine isshin-niyō selection (one bud, two leaves). The result is a tea with density and calm power — rich umami, mellow sweetness, and a long finish that feels unmistakably straw-shaded.
This tea won several awards in recent years among them:
- 2024 & 2025 THE LEAFIES (Inter National tea competition in UK) Gold
- 2017 GRAND PRIZE All Japan Tea Competition
