Bi Luo Chun 2026

Bi Luo Chun (碧螺春): one of China's most celebrated green teas, harvested over a narrow spring window from an heirloom varietal. Fine silver-haired leaves, coiled into tight spirals. Each picking date produces a distinct character.

April 1st: The earliest pick. Soft citrus and tangerine notes, round and fresh with abundant tea hairs. The most delicate and accessible of the three.

April 3rd: The most balanced pick. Tangerine and vegetal notes have settled. A developed nutty-floral profile emerges, with subtle minerality and growing complexity. The classic.

April 4th: The boldest pick. Strong, sharp, nutty-rocky character with citrus-vegetal undertones. The IPA of the three, for those who want intensity.
