Kyusu, wood-fired unglazed nanban with a vermilion red band and kiln-change flashing, in an elongated round form (窯変焼〆南蛮朱帯茶注／長丸)

Fired unglazed in the nanban manner; flame and ash mottle the iron-rich clay, with a band of bright vermilion wrapped around the body.

"Ceramesh" Ceramic filter. Comes with the artist's original paulownia (kiri) wooden box.
