Single-cultivar Matcha from Nishio, Aichi. This unique Matcha is perfect for learning about Terroir and cultivar-specific flavours. With its exceptionally long shading and meticulous hand-picking this tea offers a unique value due to lesser known growing region: suitable for Koicha and Usucha.

The tea comes from the Benifūki cultivar, known for its high levels of EGCg and 3MeEGCg (EGCg3) — two catechins that receive a lot of attention in tea research, studied for their antiallergic properties.
