Taiwan Specialty Tea

Taiwan is a small island with a surprising range of climates, soils, and elevations. Steep mountains, humid forests, coastal influence and distinct micro-regions make it an “island of variety” – ideal for complex, characterful teas. Today Taiwan is known as a laboratory for specialty tea: growers and makers work with specific cultivars, careful processing and small-batch craftsmanship to create highly individual teas across the island.
