The chart lists every Marukyu Koyamaen grade in the two families the house itself uses: the grades from Kinrin upward can be whisked as Koicha (thick tea) and as Usucha, the grades from Wako downward are made for Usucha only. The grades in grey are sold on the Japanese domestic market. The three tins in red are the EU-formulated line that we carry in Munich, placed on the row of the domestic grade that Marukyu prices them at: in Marukyu's own catalogue, Soju carries exactly the price of Wako and Meiju exactly the price of Unkaku, on the 20 g, 40 g and 100 g sizes alike.

* Oju appears in no Marukyu price list. Its price to us sits at the level of Eiju, which is why it is shown on that row; we have not had this confirmed by Marukyu yet.

How the grades differ in taste, how to prepare each one, and which one we would choose for lattes is explained in our guide to every Marukyu Koyamaen grade. The three EU tins are in stock in the Marukyu Koyamaen collection.
