Kyusu, carbonized kiln-change with scarlet hidasuki straw-marks, in a wide flat form (炭化窯変緋襷茶注/平大)

Rice-straw bound to the body burns in the kiln to leave scarlet hidasuki 'fire-cord' lines across the clay, deepened by a carbonizing reduction firing. One of the standout pieces of the exhibition.

"Ceramesh" Ceramic filter. Comes with the artist's original paulownia (kiri) wooden box.

ca. 220ml
