A small batch Wakocha (Japanese Black Tea) from Miyazaki prefecture, made by Takuya Yokoyama at Issin-En. Named "South Freshness," Minamisayaka produces one of the most aromatic of all Japanese black teas: deeply floral with notes of osmanthus and muscatel, a velvety mouthfeel, and virtually no bitterness. As the cup cools, it reveals a gentle sweetness reminiscent of freshly dried hay.
