Uneven, subtle glaze. The dented spots are particulary cool, since they adjust the cup very much to the hand. The combination of the white glaze with unglazed red clay parts reminds me positevly of 1970s aestetics.
Internationally recognized Polish ceramist from Warsaw, creating eclectic gong fu cha teaware since the 1990s.
(Mazowieckie Province, Poland )
Warsaw, the capital of Poland, is home to a vibrant artistic and craft community. In ceramics, makers often work at the intersection of East Asian tea culture and European traditions, producing eclectic and innovative teaware. The city has become a hub for internationally recognized artists, hosting exhibitions and maintaining active exchange with Korea, Taiwan, Germany, and beyond
Our gallery, studio, and tea space are a hub for experiencing and sharing the art of ceramics and tea.
Similar to the concept of “Utsuwa-galleries” in Japan, we are holding monthly exhibitions of unique ceramicists from Japan, China and Europe.
We also regularly host Workshops and Tea Experiences.
Greenish and sweet at once, very calming and grounding. Love the umami, which can be felt for long.
Well balanced, intense flavor, present umami and no bitterness or astringency. One of my favorites!
