Gu Shu Yinzhen (Ancient Tree Silver Needle)
Hand-harvested in early spring from ancient tea trees in Yunnan, this white tea is made exclusively from single buds of semi-wild Camellia sinensis. Grown in high mountain gardens by ethnic minority communities practicing ancestral farming methods, the tea trees grow naturally among tall weeds and forest vegetation — untouched by modern agriculture.

Delicate yet deeply flavorful, Gu Shu Yinzhen has a soft, grassy sweetness with floral hints reminiscent of a spring garden. Its signature is a powerful, long-lasting aftertaste that lingers on the palate and soothes the body with warming minerality. The leaves are highly resilient, offering many infusions throughout the day — even developing fruity notes when brewed again hours later.

Also excellent for cold water brewing, this tea delivers a refreshing, sweet infusion enjoyed even by children. With age, it evolves a muscatel richness akin to raw honey and stone fruits. A rare and timeless tea — ideal for both immediate enjoyment and long-term aging.

Natural Tea Gardens

Yunnan is widely recognized as the cradle of tea culture, where the earliest tea consumption began over 5,000 years ago. The region is home to ancient tea trees, some over 3,000 years old, thriving in biodiverse forests. Indigenous communities like the Bulang and Dai have cultivated and preserved these tea traditions for centuries, producing teas that reflect the rich terroir and heritage of the land.
