This shifuku is a reference to the calligraphies by Nessim Cohen shown at the exhibition. The abstract white painterly strokes on a black background. This is followed through on the himo and tsugari (gathering stitch cord attaching the himo) which features a special fleck effect to blnd with the background.
All shifuku feature bespoke handmade himo and tsugari (gathering cord that attaches the himo) in pure silk by Kyle and are signed with the Studio Shifuku mark inside. All linings are silk.
